Annemarie O’Dwyer, Doctoral Research Student at School of Education, University of Roehampton is available to provide training on what it is like to be a neuro-diverse teacher manager, as part of a school or college INSET day
The session will include a brief exploration into the current literature and research on teachers and other adults with dyslexia and dyspraxia in the workplace. The research will be realised by providing an insight into the experience of one teacher with dyslexia and dyspraxia. The ‘insider’ view will provide an opportunity to share useful tools, techniques, and available support initiatives you might find useful for yourself or in supporting colleagues.
The session will be interactive and will provide an engaging insight into neurological conditions not commonly associated with adult professionals.
Suitable for: teachers, teachers with specific learning differences, managers.

Capacity: 20 maximum, minimum of 4.
Costs: Travel, sustenance, and photocopied materials. Currently no other fees.
