Medincle Spell Checker is a new plug-in for MS Office that gives its spell-checker a much needed boost when it comes to recognising medical terms. The plug-in helps Medical Personnel see an end to the never ending sea of red underlines and the confusion – of not knowing whether you have made a genuine typo, or if Word is just being a bit wet behind the ears.

Dyslexia Extension

Dyslexia Extension is a new browser extension for the Chrome browser. This extension adds extra dyslexia friendly features to the browser.

You can customise the features you’d like to add including:

  • The ability to read paragraphs to you while underlining each word
  • Replacing white backgrounds with pastel colours for legibility
  • Converting the text on a page to one of 10 dyslexia friendly fonts
  • It also features an empathy mode which aims to mimic some of the difficulties dyslexics may have when reading webpages. This aims to give other some sense of your experience.
