The first ever day just for children and young people with dyslexia will be held on Saturday 25 March 2017. It will be at the Scottish Youth Theatre in Glasgow from 10 a.m. – 3.30 pm. The event is for children and young people with dyslexia aged 11 – 18. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings for young people out with this age range.

Have you got what it takes to be a creative writer?
Iain McKinnon has 5 novels in print and a master’s degree in creative writing – pretty good for a boy who wasn’t allowed to sit an English exam at school because he was too ‘stupid’. Iain struggled with education until his dyslexia was spotted and since then he has used the advantages of dyslexia to help his writing.
Work alongside the creator of the Great Scottish Tapestry Andrew Crummy to design a dyslexia mural.

Please note that a film crew will be filming and interviewing people at the Youth Day. There is an option on the booking form not to have photos taken or be filmed individually, but we cannot guarantee that delegates will not be filmed as part of a larger group.
